My work is comprised primarily of images derived from nature.
Central to the work is an emphasis on nature-immersion within a narrative
of shifting landscapes and ecological change.
Navigating a culmination of partitioned landscapes such as campsites, re-wilded city-space,
pocket parks, dog parks, backyard animal communities and local treks among greenspace,
provide a context for my work that speaks to nature-based recreation within a
human-mediated landscape, while offering a modicum of solace intrinsic
to the natural world.
My collections of silhouetted forms range from such varied fields as exotic,
invasive species to the detritus of vacation hubs, and, at times, bear witness to
unexpected trajectories in a rapidly changing world.
